Join us as we honor 9 Broward County women who have made extraordinary contributions to our community and demonstrated excellence, leadership and integrity in their profession.  

Broward County’s 2019 most influential women selected to receive award include: Heidi Dennis, General Manager at The Pelican Grand Beach Resort; Desorae Giles-Smith, Deputy City Manager Lauderhill; Jenni Moorejon, President and CEO of the Fort Lauderdale Downtown Development Authority (DDA); Eula Murray Hylton, Founder of 2day project of South Florida and the Agency Owner & CEO of Insurance Today, Inc.; Burnadette Norris-Weeks, Esq., Partner at Austin Pamies Norris Weeks, LLC; Teshanne Phillip, author, and entrepreneur, and Founder and CEO of the I am Hope Foundation; Court Group 19 Broward County Judge, Jackie Powell; Broward County Commissioner for District 1, Nan Rich; and Shirley Toliver, Founder and Chief Power Officer of Life OnPower, LLC, and a Senior Human Resources leader with UPS. 
 
The Annual Awards Breakfast is the hallmark event produced by LRCC to honor dynamic women in Broward County and is attended by influential entrepreneurs, professionals, and public officials. The event has sold out four consecutive years, and organizers encourage early reservations in order to enjoy the event.
